How to Manually Remove Win32.Brontok Virus

The Win32.Brontok virus, also known as Win32.Brontok.ao, disguises itself as an antisoftware program. The fake antisoftware program notifies you that your computer is infected with Win32.Brontok and that you must supply certain financial information in order to download the program necessary to remove the infection. This is simply an attempt to procure your financial information and download additional viruses onto your computer. In addition, the Win32.Brontok virus will slow your computer, flood it with popup advertisements, create new shortcuts, and alter your desktop.
